Omega Seamaster Co-Axial 1948 London 2012 Limited Edition

It is approaching the Olympic Games in London, and Omega is now out with its limit Trusted series in this occasion. This watch was launched in London for the first time July 27, 2011, on the day a year before the Games open. We ordered our copy of last year's Basel World, and today it arrived Haugesund.Historien behind the clock starts in 1948, when the Omega for the first time launched Seamaster model. In the same year was also the last time London hosted the Olympic Games. Then as today was also the official Time Keeper, Omega. With so many concurrent events related to 1948, it is no wonder that this watch was re-released as a Limited Edition. The clock is thus a redesign of the first timer that came in 1948.

Details and technical specifications:

The diameter of the watch is 39mm, the housing is made of steel, while the back cover has a medallion in 18 kt yellow gold with the logo of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Vintage logo on the dial is in 18 kt white gold, and so are the numbers 12-3-6 and 9

Movement is the Omega cal 2202, a mechanical automatic chronometersertifisert co-axial verk.Kassen is water protected to 120 meters. The watch has 48-hour power reserve. Only made in 1948 copies. Comes in its own case and with a special certificate signed by Stephen Urquhart - President of Omega.

A watch - definitely worth owning. We have only this one copy.
